A BBC Radio 4 Full-Cast Dramatisation

Bill Nighy returns as the actor and amateur sleuth, Charles Paris

When Charles Paris lands a role in a grimly unfunny sitcom (despite the best attempts of his worse-than-useless agent), he’s relieved his dry spell is over. But no sooner has he accepted the role than things start to go wrong – the cast and crew begin to die in a series of grisly accidents, and the situation comedy turns into a situation tragedy. And once again, the lovably louche actor finds himself forced to play detective.

Meanwhile, his semi-detached wife Frances is furious, and Maurice is living with them following a skiing accident. As tensions rise at home and on set, can Charles work out who is killing off the cast and crew, and more importantly, stop Frances from murdering Maurice?

Jeremy Front’s witty drama stars Bill Nighy as Charles Paris, with Suzanne Burden as Frances and Jon Glover as Maurice.
