Getaway

Getaway

Summary

Brilliantly talented Polly Sayers has had her first affair with a woman, stolen the code of an important new piece of software and done a runner all the way to a peaceful English coastal community. But things aren't as tranquil as they appear in this quiet haven, as Polly realises when she becomes immersed in an insular group of mysterious but very attractive women.

Boxed in by her own basic instincts and her fear of criminal prosecution, Polly experiences an escalating sense of foreboding that is itself a stimulation. Greedy, terrified and exhilarated as never before, how long can she dance on danger's slim, dark edge?
