Roar

Roar

Summary

Because sometimes, you have to run through the streets and roar.

Present day Bihar, also known as India's 'Badlands.' A state famous for its lawlessness, and where witch hunting is on the rise.

Devi is widowed at eighteen. Alone, she faces the wrath of her family and when she dares to speak out against the injustice, she is declared a witch.

She runs away, determined to enlist the help of a group of Pink-sari-wearing, stick-wielding women, known for their vigilantism. Together they can help Devi return to her village, get back the land that's hers, and exact revenge on the men who wronged her.
