About the authors

Lisa Williams

Lisa Williams is an Honorary Fellow in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh and a PhD candidate at the University of St Andrews. Lisa runs educational and anti-racist programmes, working with teachers and pupils across Scotland to explore some of the lesser-known areas of British history.

Lisa grew up in Dorset, lived in the Caribbean, and now lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.
