Samantha Renke is an actress, presenter, disability activist, inclusion and equality consultant and keynote speaker. She is a columnist for the Metro and has written a multitude of articles on what it is like to be disabled in a disabling word. She was born with a rare genetic condition called Osteogenesis Imperfecta or more commonly known as Brittle Bone condition and is a fulltime wheelchair user. She has racked up an impressive two hundred and counting broken bones and has had ten operations including spinal fusion and telescopic leg rodding. Samantha has never walked and quite frankly has never wanted to.
