How to make chocolate cornflake cakes for Easter

Follow our recipe to make some yummy dinosaur egg nests aka chocolate cornflake cakes for Easter. Plus, download and decorate them with our The Dinosaur That Pooped Easter cake toppers.

You will need:

• Chocolate

• Cornflakes

• Spoon

• Muffin cases

• Mini eggs

• Dino cake toppers (download below)

• A4 paper and a printer

• Scissors

• Cocktail sticks

• Sticky tape

Dino cake toppers:

How to make:

1. First melt the chocolate in a microwave or on a hob on a medium setting, stirring every 30 seconds until it melts. Once melted, pour in the cornflakes and mix.

2. Next, spoon the mixture into the muffin cases.

3. Then add the mini eggs, and place them in a fridge to set for about 20-30 minutes.

4. Whilst you're waiting, print out the dinosaur cake toppers and cut them out. Then tape them to the cocktail sticks.

5. When the cornflake cakes have had time to set, carefully remove them from the cases and decorate them with the dinosaur toppers. And voila! Now you have some delicious dinosaur nests to nibble on.
