To enter into this prize draw, simply fill in the following form by 23:59 on Wednesday 18th December 2024.

Terms and Conditions

  1. No purchase necessary to enter the prize draw.
  2. This prize draw is open to people aged 18 years or over, who is resident of the UK, with the exception of employees of the Promoter, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion.
  3. Entries must be received by 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 18th December 2024. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Automatically generated entries and entries via agents or third parties are invalid and will not be counted. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned.
  4. Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
  5. To enter complete the competition form above.
  6. All correctly completed entries will be entered into a prize draw which will take place on Thursday 19th December 2024. One winner will be drawn at random.
  7. The prize for the winner is a paperback copy of The Midnight Hour by Eve Chase and one Large 2 Photo Heart Locket Silver + Photos from Lily Blanche (RRP £135)
  8. The winners will be notified via email by Friday 20th December 2024. The winner must claim their prize within 30 days of the promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
  9. The Promoter will be responsible for sending the books to the winner and for the purposes of prize fulfilment only, the Promoter will share the winner’s details with Lily Blanche so that Lily Blanche can send the prizes to the winner.
  10. Other than those specified above, the promoter shall not be liable for any costs or expenses arising out of or in any way connected with this prize and does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by the winner as result of accepting this prize.
  11. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into
  12. By entering this competition, all entrants agree to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of running the competition as detailed in these terms and conditions.   13. Where an entrant has opted in for their personal data to be shared with Lily Blanche for their newsletter, they agree that the promoter may transfer their personal data to that company for that purpose and Lily Blanche will be deemed to be the data controller of the personal data transferred to them. The promoter will remain the controller of any personal data it retains for the purpose of the competition and any newsletter opt-ins to its own newsletter.
  14. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant whose entry does not comply with these terms and conditions (in Promoter’s sole opinion) or who, in Promoter’s sole determination, has acted in a manner that is fraudulent, dishonest or unjust to other entrants including, without limitation, tampering with the operation of the prize draw, manipulating or rigging votes, hacking, deceiving, cheating or by harassing or threatening other entrants or a representative of Promoter.
  15. We will make the winner’s name available on request to the following email address emorley@penguinrandomhouse.co.uk (please state the name of the competition in the subject heading 10 weeks after the closing date).  If you do not want your name to be made available in the event that you win, please let us know by emailing emorley@penguinrandomhouse.co.uk. Please note we are required to make the winner’s details available to the ASA if requested.
  16. By entering the prize draw each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  17. The promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the competition. 
  18. These terms and conditions are subject to English Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
