Think Again. One big question. Two great answers.

The Bodley Head and Intelligence Squared partner up for a new series addressing the most challenging and divisive questions of the day.

For more than two decades Intelligence Squared has brought together the most brilliant minds in the world to respectfully debate the issues that matter.

In partnership with The Bodley Head, one of the UK’s leading publishers of nonfiction, this mission will be brought to the world of print with a new book series called Think Again.

The books will address today’s most challenging and important questions in a uniquely constructive format: two expert, contrasting and equally persuasive views in a single volume.

The first title, Is Free Speech Under Threat?, explores a topic that often generates debate. But perhaps now, more than ever, it feels like a particularly heightened conversation and one of huge importance.

Many believe that in recent years we have seen an erosion of the right to air unpopular opinions without the risk of being cancelled, with constituencies on both the left and the right demanding that opinions they don’t like be declared out of bounds, socially, morally or legally. But some argue otherwise: that the so-called ‘free speech crisis’ is fiction. That what we’re really seeing is a redirection of power, with privileged groups being held to account for their words by others who have been historically excluded and marginalised.
